The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering academic support, preferably in a Higher Education environment and experience of teaching adults in groups and individually. With experience of working effectively in complex environments, you will bring a flexible and innovative approach and a willingness to embrace new technologies and relationships as the HE environment evolves.
Alongside these key skills, we are looking for candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong interest in helping students reach their potential.
The ideal candidate would bring:
- Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering innovative teaching, and developing supporting materials including online learning resources
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Adaptability and an inclusive, student-centred approach.

This position is offered on a permanent part-time, term-time contract, 35 weeks per year. The hours will be variable with 9 weeks x 3-day weeks and 26 weeks x 4-day weeks.
An example year is set out below, there is some flexibility to suit the successful candidate:
1 – 14 Sept, 2 weeks x 22.5 hours (3 days)
15 Sept - 21 Dec, 14 weeks x 30 hours (4 days)
5 Jan – 29 Mar, 12 weeks x 30 hours (4 days)
13 Apr – 29 May, 7 weeks x 22.5 hours (3 days).
