About The Role

Join a community of educators and innovators at our Falmouth University Games Academy, ranked as one of the top Universities for Game Design in the World by Princeton Review. We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Lecturer in Game Art to join our dynamic online team.
 
You’ll play a key role in shaping our new online Game Art programme, which is one of the first fully remote Game Development programmes in the UK. In the first instance you will be working alongside other members of the Games Academy to build the content for our new programmes including modules on 3D modelling for props and environment and digital sculpting for 3D Characters.

About You

We’re looking for candidates with teaching experience and a master’s degree in a relevant subject. Highly motivated and student-focused, you excel at guiding diverse cohorts in exploring Game Art, helping students unlock their full potential and develop innovative approaches to practice and research.
 
We are looking for candidates with the following skills/experience:
 
  • A comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of 3D Art pipelines for video games
  • Awareness of current industry practice trends
  • Evidence of working with industry-standard tools to produce 3D environments, props and characters

This is a fixed term for 6 months, part-time position, working 24 hours per week flexibly. Due to the online nature of this role, it can be worked remotely, however the successful candidate must be based within the UK.
